Location Requirement:To be eligible for this role you must be located in Hawaii.Position Summary:The SOC Analyst is responsible for analyzing and responding to cyber threats. The SOC Analyst will operate and tune security tools to perform cyber security services for client networks. The SOC Analyst will perform other maintenance & patching activities as assigned to support the cybersecurity posture of OSIbeyond's clients.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Work and complete assigned tickets according to SOPsMonitor client environments for security threatsPerform regularly scheduled vulnerability scanning and penetration testing and manage remediation of identified issuesAnalyze cloud environments, servers, workstations and other devices suspected to be compromisedProvide high quality written and verbal customer serviceAccurately track and document all workMaintenance activities as assigned.Job Qualifications:Experience:3+ years of related experience including either system administration or cybersecurityExperience administering Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and on-premise Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10Familiarity with log, event or security management platforms such as Logstash and SplunkExperience in working with help desk ticketing software such as Zendesk or ConnectwiseEducation and Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (required)Comptia Security+ (required)Comptia CySA+ or equivalent (strongly preferred)Other Skills:Demonstrated ongoing professional interest in cybersecurityAbility to speak confidently and comfortably with clients and vendors as needed to see incidents through resolutionOutstanding attention to detailStrong communicator, both written & verbalStrong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilitiesMust possess a current and valid driver's licensePosition:Location – Remote (Must be located in Hawaii)Department – TechnicalEmployment Type - Full-TimeCompensation - $65,000-$75,000#J-18808-Ljbffr
