Job Title: Mechanical Operations Director

Overview

We seek a results-driven Mechanical Operations Director to lead and manage all mechanical construction operations in Honolulu, HI. This high-impact leadership role requires strategic oversight of HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects, ensuring seamless execution from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise and a proven ability to drive operational excellence, team performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, plumbing, piping, and medical gas systems, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, project delivery, and resource management in alignment with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, and field teams to achieve performance targets and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support business growth and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in the commercial mechanical construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or operational management role.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, piping, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with a track record of managing large teams and complex projects.
• Demonstrated stability in prior roles with a local presence in the Honolulu area or a willingness to relocate.
