We're looking for a Skilled Electrician with strong building and solar experience to lead installations of premium shade and pergola systems across residential, commercial, and government projects. This is a hands-on, in-house position for someone who thrives in a team environment, takes pride in precision work, and knows their way around both tools and permits.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Electrical Systems & Wiring
  • Install and wire 110V and low-voltage systems for lighting and shade automation.
  • Add circuits to existing panels and tie into main electrical service as needed.
  • Install in-ground conduit, bend conduit, and route wiring per code.
  • Manage panel upgrades or modifications when required for project specs.
• Structural Build & Carpentry
  • Assist with framing and building aluminum and wood structures, including custom pergolas and shade systems.
  • Lead roofing system installations, including climbing and working on elevated surfaces.
  • Execute footings, anchoring systems, and foundational prep for electrical infrastructure.
• Solar Panel Integration
  • Install, wire, and test solar panel systems that integrate with shade structures.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless solar + structural integration.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local solar install regulations.
• Permits & Inspections
  • Pull electrical permits and coordinate required city or state inspections.
  • Ensure all work is completed to NEC code and local authority standards.
  • Document installation details and provide Job Recaps using the company's digital tools.
• Safety & Team Collaboration
  • Promote a safe job site—including climbing safety, electrical lockout/tagout, and trenching standards.
  • Work closely with the install, ops, and design teams to complete jobs on time and to spec.
  • Train and mentor apprentices or junior team members when needed.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (Hawaii license strongly preferred).
• 3+ years experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
• Solar installation experience required (NABCEP certification is a plus).
• Strong background in carpentry or structural building—ability to read blueprints, frame, and assemble structures.
• Able to climb ladders and roofs, lift 50+ lbs, and work in outdoor conditions.
• Knowledge of conduit work, trenching, panel tie-ins, and low-voltage wiring.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and job site leadership skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be open to local travel across Oahu and neighboring islands.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Occasional travel to job sites across Oahu and neighboring islands
