In this position, you will provide aviation ground support services to customers in a positive and professional manner. You will perform all facets of ground handling, including but not limited to aircraft fueling/defueling, baggage/cargo handling, aircraft towing, marshalling signals for parking, lavatory/potable water service, and operating various ground support equipment to support customer needs.

Pay starts at $20 - $21/hour. This position requires availability for any/all shifts, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and being on call.

*Must be a Hawaii resident at the time of application and be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
  • Operate all company ground support equipment, including lavatory and water service carts, ground power units, deice trucks, etc.
  • Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
  • Assist with customer service activities such as aircraft scheduling and fueling.
  • Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
  • Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
  • Conduct or assist with safety inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 21 years of age.
  • A valid state driver's license; in some locations, a CDL with endorsements may be required.
  • Physically able to work in environments requiring walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain an airport security badge.
  • Proficient in computer and email use, including training modules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends, in various weather conditions.
  • Preferred: six months of experience or training in aviation or customer service, or equivalent education and experience.
