Position Overview

This role supervises and coordinates multiple planning projects, studies, and activities within a major segment of the city planning program. The position involves managing staff, overseeing compliance, and ensuring effective project execution.

• One vacancy in the Department of Planning and Permitting as Monitoring and Compliance Branch Chief of the Customer Services Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise research, analysis, and processing of Civil Fine Orders for land use violations.
• Monitor pending Civil Fine cases and coordinate enforcement efforts.
• Oversee compliance with permit conditions.
• Supervise staff and assign tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, national, or eligible non-citizen for employment.
• Education: Degree in city planning, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology, public administration, or related field. Foreign degrees require evaluation and documentation.
• Experience: Minimum of five years in city planning or related activities, including supervisory experience. A master's degree can substitute for one year of experience.
