Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Data Analyst will use technology to mine complex, voluminous, and diverse data from various sources and platforms, to collect, analyze, and compile data to meet customer needs.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  1. Analyze local, national, and global trends to identify new data sources and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  2. Identify and resolve technical issues, remove corrupted data, and fix coding errors.
  3. Collaborate with Intelligence and Data analysis teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data analysis supporting intelligence products and processes.
  4. Develop data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks and automation for data monitoring, extraction, and reporting.
  5. Work with IDST members and USSOCOM leadership to identify process improvements, propose system modifications, and devise data management strategies to enhance data quality and usability.
  6. Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Proficiency in Python programming.
  2. Ability to read and understand other coding languages such as HTML/CSS, R, Java, C, C++, C#.
  3. Experience creating process documentation using web-based version control systems.
  4. Experience with GitLab and Jira.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate business processes.
  6. Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  7. Experience managing complex projects within government timelines across dispersed teams.
  8. Experience providing services with similar scope and complexity.
  9. U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Desired Skills:

  1. JavaScript, R, C/C++, SQL, Go, Flask, React, SQL Alchemy, CI/CD.
  2. Experience with Flask and React is preferred.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Security Clearance:

  • Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI is required.
