American Electric Company, LLC seeks an experienced, thorough, and reliable Project Engineer to join our team on Oahu. The Project Engineer will manage administration, labor, material, and assets on projects within the AE Construction Mission. This role is based in our Mililani office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communication with Project Manager, Field Leadership, and Client
• Define project objectives, policies, and procedures
• Maintain project logs and schedules
• Monitor construction activities with Foreman to ensure schedule, compliance, and budget adherence
• Assist in monthly financial reports
• Support procurement and subcontractor management
• Enforce AE policies, procedures, and standards
• Read and interpret manuals, specifications, drawings, and instructions

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Education and/or Experience:

• Entry level with no experience required; some project or construction experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of project management software is a plus
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Location: Island of Oahu, Hawaii

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $55-$75K
