Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist (Exercise Planner) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) under the Theater Army Campaign Support (TACS) Task Order. This position is located at Fort Shafter in Hawaii.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide timely, accurate, relevant, complete, and actionable all-domain/all-discipline exercise planning and direction for joint Army-to-Army exercises across the Indo-Pacific theater.
  • Enhance capacity-building exercises and information exchanges.
  • Support USARPAC planning efforts with protection technical support and data analysis.
  • Assist in security cooperation programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate organizational goals and operational support with future operations.
  • Support USARPAC G3X exercises planning and operations.
  • Integrate Army space operations into exercise planning.
  • Develop exercise planning documentation and related materials.
  • Create documentation to tell the command story of exercises.
  • Collaborate with team members in exercise planning.
  • Support the planning and execution of field training exercises west of the International Date Line.
  • Manage support resources for exercise planning activities.
  • Oversee technical direction of exercise planning, including design, implementation, and testing.
  • Assess and analyze exercise results to identify gaps and improvements.

Additionally, you will:

  • Lead exercise planning from concept to implementation.
  • Define exercise scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed plans, schedules, estimates, and resource allocations.
  • Conduct meetings and track exercise progress.
  • Ensure adherence to standards.
  • Support team members and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Program Management, IT, Computer Science, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience at the brigade level or above.
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning and executing Component or Joint Exercise Programs.
  • Graduate of a Command and General Staff College.
  • Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), MDMP, Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Experience with JTIMS and ARTIMS.
  • Knowledge of joint and multinational exercise design at the operational level.
  • Ability to develop and present exercise concepts and plans.
  • Experience managing exercise budgets with multiple funding streams.
  • Knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in related fields.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years at the brigade level or above.

Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000, based on experience and other factors.
