WSP is seeking a Full-Time Fire and Life Safety Engineer for locations including Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Riverside, CA; San Diego, CA; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Honolulu, HI. Be involved in projects with our Fire and Life Safety Team and contribute to a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves challenges.

This role involves providing technical guidance on fire and life safety systems in building projects across public and private sectors, including research, design, installation, testing, and inspection of systems like sprinkler, fire alarm, and smoke control systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes, reviewing drawings, negotiating with authorities, and producing safety strategy documents. You will also perform fire engineering calculations, assist in system commissioning, interface with clients, mentor junior staff, and support business development.

Who You Are

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of fire protection and safety consulting experience
• Experience in fire protection design applications
• Excellent communication skills

• P.E. License (preferred)
• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD

Expected Salary: $87,700 - $120,000 (varies by location and experience)
