Senior Data Center Facility Engineer - Honolulu

Stealth Communications is seeking highly skilled individuals for the role of Data Center Facility Engineer. This role requires expertise in HVAC, Mechanical Systems, Electrical, and Security Systems to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately difficult tasks based on standard operating procedures
• Support the overall team
• Maintain facility and infrastructure systems
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on-site
• Perform site inspections and monitor building alarms
• Repair, maintain, and install facility systems
• Support energy efficiency initiatives
• Monitor and resolve alarms from the Building Monitoring System (BMS)
• Operate plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems
• Assist in operating critical infrastructure under senior staff supervision
• Handle daily work with minimal instruction and adapt to new assignments
• Maintain site logs and permits, such as MOPs
• Identify Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and recommend solutions
• Respond to on-site incidents and issues
• Oversee operation of flywheel energy storage systems, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot issues
• Support on-site administrative tasks following operating procedures
• Complete work requests, circuit installations, and minor mechanical or electrical modifications
• Participate in infrastructure projects and collaborate with team members
• Manage inventory needs for critical parts and equipment
• Work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team, including scientists, engineers, and military personnel

Qualifications

• Active, transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government security clearance prior to start
• Meet eligibility requirements per DoD 1322.29 and NAVADMIN 222/15
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 13 years of relevant experience
• Deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems (UPS, Generators, Flywheels, BMS, etc.)
• Coursework in HVAC design, heat transfer, and thermodynamics
• Knowledge of HVAC testing and balancing
• Strong time management, multitasking, and communication skills
• Proactive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and teamwork
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Starting salary: $325,000 with a sign-on bonus of $325,000.
