This role involves teaching Theatre classes, serving as an Academic Advisor, mentoring students, and managing all aspects of scenic design, lighting, and sound production.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in curriculum discussions and script selection.
- Supervising technical staff and students.
- Recruiting and training volunteers and staff.
- Leading technical projects through all production phases.
- Managing technical facilities and equipment.
- Handling departmental budgets and inventory.
Position Details:
- Work Year: 10.5 Months
- School Year: 2025-2026
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with some early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Salary Range: $68,927 - $139,363, commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theatre or related field; Master's preferred.
- At least 3 years in theatrical set design and construction.
- 3 years teaching middle or high school students.
- 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of technical theatre disciplines and safety standards.
