This recruitment is part of the Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project, which features an expedited hiring process to fast-track qualified applicants into job opportunities across Hawai'i.

Salary: $4,155 per month (SR-16, Step D)

Duties: To regulate, stabilize, and expand produce markets; facilitate trading; improve quality of agricultural products; enhance the competitiveness of Hawaii-grown products; and protect against misrepresentation and unfair practices. The Specialist I receives formal and on-the-job training in inspection, certification, and related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted, or 100 lbs. with assistance or equipment.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
