The Fuels Site Manager will oversee site management tasks related to fuel systems, including minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with facility contacts, project managers, and subcontractors, maintaining health and safety standards, ensuring quality control, and documenting all project activities to keep stakeholders informed.

This position requires long-term travel, initially to Hawaii. Future opportunities may include work in Hawaii, Asia, or the continental U.S.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma plus at least 10+ years of DoD Fuels related construction program management, including 5+ years of safety oversight.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and teams.
  • Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods (up to 6 months).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for daily/weekly reports with photos.
  • OSHA 30-hour training and HAZWOPER certification required.
  • Certified in Red Cross First Aid/CPR.
  • Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 preferred.
  • Experience with excavation, heavy equipment, scaffolding, electrical safety, confined space rescue, and demolition is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Regular communication with clients regarding project progress.
  • Perform all aspects of Fuels projects safely and efficiently.
  • Implement cost-effective schedules for personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage teams, subcontractors, and schedules, and evaluate personnel actions.
  • Conduct daily meetings and act as liaison among stakeholders.
  • Assist with material and project plan submissions, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide photographic documentation and daily reports.

Salary Range: $88,700 - $147,800 (varies with experience)
