Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, performs multi-faceted analyses regarding the monitoring and quantification of risks associated with retail credit portfolios. Generates reports used by management and informs key stakeholders (Board, auditors, regulators).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical methodologies for retail credit portfolios, including data collection, model evaluation, and performance analysis.
• Monitor front-end credit approval systems, evaluate population stability, and recommend model adjustments.
• Prepare reports for Asset Quality processes, management decision-making, and committees, including policy and portfolio planning.
• Design and maintain data extraction programs to improve data quality and system performance.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory compliance issues related to retail credit.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in probability/statistics or a quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of banking experience with knowledge of portfolio management, credit scoring, and model validation.
• Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office, relational databases, and statistics software.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
