Description:

Provide oversight and direction for the Bilingual Access Line (BAL) program, staff, and services. Establish and maintain partnerships, oversee budgets, ensure quality services, and uphold high ethics and integrity to meet the diverse needs of the LEP community. Support a culture of high performance aligned with organizational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the BAL program, including marketing strategies to achieve program goals.
  2. Develop, implement, and evaluate BAL policies and procedures, recommending improvements for efficiency.
  3. Build collaborative relationships with public, private, and community organizations to ensure appropriate service delivery, utilizing surveys, meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Monitor budget forecasts, compare against fiscal reports, and take corrective actions to sustain the program financially.
  5. Ensure contractual requirements are met.
  6. Recruit, monitor, and develop staff; supervise interpretation and translation services quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  1. Maintain an organizational structure suited to business needs.
  2. Recruit, train, supervise staff, and conduct evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
  3. Recruit and train volunteers as necessary.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports and documents.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or social sciences from an accredited institution, or 2-3 years of professional experience.
  2. Prior supervisory experience.
  3. Effective communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
  4. Proficiency in Windows and MS Office programs.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse programs, staff, and volunteers.
  6. Valid driver's license and willingness to use a properly insured vehicle.

Must comply with company ethics, confidentiality, HIPAA, safety policies, and procedures.
