Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

The Inventory/Warehouse Systems Specialist position supports Operations Management to organize and manage the warehouse systems and works closely with other functional groups. The Inventory/Warehouse Systems Specialist will troubleshoot system issues, identify discrepancies, and resolve any programming issues in software communication/records and provide timely and relevant reporting data to Manufacturing management. This role is highly technical, and the work will require proficiency with reporting using various inventory systems and related software products.

  • Responsible for reporting and inventory of product and ingredients in the physical plant utilizing warehouse management systems and other software
  • Generate reports related to inventory, time studies, audits, and loss/breakage and others as necessary to increase operational efficiency
  • Reconciles data between systems and addresses programming errors or gaps in data transfer, responsible for diagnosing of integration issues and providing resolutions and implementation of patches or mapping
  • Create training procedure manuals for various systems, documents work performed, ensures all OSHA/HIOSH/ANSI reports are completed and kept up to date
  • Provide training to manufacturing workers with varying degrees of English skills, train managers on procedures and best practices, and may present to leadership team as appropriate
  • As needed, will support manufacturing operations on the production floor with physical inventory, or other support as business demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience using inventory systems and software, preferably Acumatica and/or any other ERP system
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Must be able to display patience when fixing problems and explaining procedures to all levels of employees with regards to systems and software
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, able to present training to all levels of employee, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-traffic work areas with personal protective equipment (PPE) like hair coverings, face coverings and other items to ensure food safety
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with employees with English as a second language

Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and carry
  • Ability to work around non-hazardous materials and waste
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision 20 inches or less, (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. Distance vision 20 feet or more, not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Peripheral vision observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point
  • Specific hearing abilities include the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., forklifts, packaging, machinery alarms), medical codes or alarms and communication purposes
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime as required, including various shifts, and weekends
