Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Duties

1. Perform routine and recurring assignments in the planning and delivery of network services.
2. Identify and resolve issues using analytical methods.
3. Design, develop, test, install, operate, manage, and maintain network systems.
4. Manage the organization's network architecture, topology, and protocols.
5. Evaluate and recommend changes to methods and practices.
6. Communicate on emerging technologies and industry trends.
7. Respond to and resolve network service requests.
8. Apply information security and assurance policies, principles, and practices.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required upon appointment.
• Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements.
• Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify).
• Possible one-year probationary period.
• Ability to obtain a Tier 3 background investigation.
• Work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various hours as required.
• Willingness to work on-call 24/7 on a rotation basis for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in relevant fields, or 2 years of higher-level graduate education.
• OR 3 years of specialized experience in network installation, troubleshooting, reporting, and communication.
• Proficiency in attention to detail, customer service, verbal communication, and problem solving.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CCNA or equivalent certification within 6 months.
• Security+ or higher certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
• 2 years of recent experience with Cisco network equipment in an enterprise environment.

Highly-qualifying criteria include:

• At least 5 years of IT experience.
• Experience in a hotel environment (preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
