Construction Project Manager - Commercial

Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager for Commercial projects will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects, focusing on multi-family and townhouse renovations and tenant improvements. This role is essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources using Primavera P6.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Oversee the work of foremen and subcontractors, providing guidance and support.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including estimates, take-offs, and change orders.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resolve issues promptly.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry and remodeling practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
