Sr Project Engineer - Environmental, Remediation, Groundwater

This role involves leading environmental engineering projects focused on remediation and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and environmental science to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site assessments and oversee remediation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and reports in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenses.
• Perform field sampling and analyze groundwater, soil, and other environmental media.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
• Manage traffic and erosion control measures on project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in environmental projects.
• Knowledge of remediation techniques and HAZWOPER regulations.
• Proven project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control for environmental projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of geology, water resources, groundwater management, and field sampling techniques.
