Actalent is seeking a Superintendent who will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities on high-rise, hospitality, and healthcare projects.

With 5-10 years of relevant experience, the successful candidate will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Management: Supervise daily construction operations for high-rise, hospitality, and healthcare projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors, construction teams, and on-site personnel. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
3. Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Address and rectify any issues or deficiencies promptly.
4. Safety Oversight: Enforce safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct safety meetings and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards.
5. Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. Provide timely and accurate updates on project status, changes, and potential issues.
6. Problem-Solving: Identify potential problems or delays and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track. Manage change orders and adjust project plans as needed.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports. Ensure thorough documentation for project closeout.

Qualifications :

1. Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in high-rise construction, hospitality projects, or healthcare facilities. Proven experience managing complex and large-scale projects is essential.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3. Skills: Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
4. Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to high-rise buildings, hospitality environments, and healthcare facilities. Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards.
5. Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant safety and construction management certifications are preferred.
