Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach two sections of EDEP 311 or as assigned; responsible for the selection of course text and other materials and activities; assessment of student performance; and obtain written student evaluations. Exact assignment will depend upon staffing needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a classified, degree-seeking graduate student (Masters or PhD) enrolled in an advanced degree program in Educational Psychology or related field of study in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above and maintain full-time enrollment.
  • Strong background in principles of educational psychology and educational inquiry.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience teaching K-12.
  • Demonstrated teaching competence.
  • Knowledge of the College of Education's teacher preparation programs.
  • Experience teaching adults.
  • Experience teaching online.
