Data Analyst / Sharepoint Administrator (Remote)

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Data Analyst / Sharepoint Administrator to support program management, data analytics, and Sharepoint reporting & enhancement activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Custody Programs Division (CPD). This role will be responsible for providing support within a team of analysts to government taskings, status reports, data calls, Sharepoint maintenance, analytics and dashboard development, customer relationship management and various other programmatic needs. This role will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to collect and compile information to ensure timely responses to requests and ad hoc assignments.
2. Support current Sharepoint sites and reporting processes, edit Sharepoint Lists, and create new lists and workflows as needed.
3. Support data analytics and reporting requirements for unit teams including weekly and monthly report requirements to the customer as well as real-time response to tasking-related data requests.
4. Provide support to CPD data requirements within both internal and external data systems.
5. Provide trend analysis to CPD data sets to understand and plan for program requirements.
6. Support cross-functional data analyses to present overall program execution.
7. Create, draft, and provide updates for the project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
8. Understand the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
9. Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
10. Create project deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
11. Develop, gather and disseminate information and documentation among both business and technical customers in support of the Project Managers.
12. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
13. Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project.
14. Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges.
15. Work with all team members to analyze changes in requirements and recommend the most expedient solutions in a timely manner.
16. Leverage advanced writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view to create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrative.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience).
2. 5+ years of experience work in dynamic customer delivery environments.
3. Experience working with, maintaining and developing in Sharepoint.
4. Experience with data analytic tools and technology utilized in the ICE environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Experience with Power BI.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Strong understanding in project management and data analysis.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
5. Ability to work independently in an extremely fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other team and external stakeholders.
7. Be flexible to change direction on a moment's notice while also tracking/executing tasks in progress.
8. Ability to think “outside of the box” while communicating or dealing with a variety of situations.
9. Possess clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities on large scale IT projects.

Clearance Required:

• Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required).

Posted Salary Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
