Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bank's Identity and Access Management (IAM) team along with all of its operational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Bank's IAM functions.
  • Manages IAM staff schedules, workload, compensation, performance, and training/development.
  • Assists Divisional Manager with oversight, planning, budgeting, forecasting, directing, organizing, and executing activities related to IAM.
  • Establishes and supports operational metrics and reporting for all IAM functions.
  • Establishes and continuously monitors service levels of all external providers.
  • Assists with prioritizing and executing the IAM roadmap and project portfolio.
  • Develops and executes internal IAM projects which minimize the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
  • Communicates with other managers to learn about IAM implications of other projects, assists with project planning, and negotiates the IAM team's involvement and timing.
  • Demonstrates customer service focus by providing good service and considering the effect of all actions on internal and external customer service, while always looking for ways to improve service.
  • Performs miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience. CIAM or CIMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience related to identity and access management (IAM), including, but not limited to, access provisioning, access revalidation, privileged account management (PAM), identity and access management systems, and/or oversight, management and communication of complex technical programs.
  • Banking/financial industry or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience managing teams of industry certified team members and minimum 2 to 5 years of effective project management experience, depending on level.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. Possess deep knowledge of IAM system functionality and interoperability with other IT systems and applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style, including teamwork and team-building ability. Effective conflict management, negotiating, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills. Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities. Technically creative and open-minded. Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed or assigned. Must have own transportation or operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license and commute as necessary.
