The Armed Services YMCA Hawaii hosts 8 weeks of action-packed educational and recreational camps for children ages 7-12, and we are seeking energetic, accountable Summer Program Counselors to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. The Summer Program Counselor will be responsible for creating memories and fostering hopes and dreams for an assigned group of 18-20 children. Duties include helping plan, facilitate, lead, and participate in all group activities. Applicants should be patient, fun-loving and confident in their ability to motivate and assist children in everything from learning new skills to reinforcing positive behaviors in character development. Mandatory (paid) training and program rep: 5/27/25 through 5/30/25 (9:00am-3:00pm) Summer Program Camp Dates: 6/2/25 through 8/1/25
Shifts:
Monday through Friday
7:30am-1:30pm
Shifts are based on staffing and program needs.
Armed Services YMCA Hawaii compensation: $18.00 per hour
Employment type: Part-time (Seasonal)
