What You'll Do
As the Director of Workers' Compensation Claims, you will lead ProService Hawaii's efforts to deliver best-in-class workers' compensation claims management. Your role is critical in differentiating our program from competitors by driving improved outcomes, achieving cost-containment goals, and mentoring a team of skilled adjusters to reach new heights of performance. Specifically, you will:

1. Execute With Excellence: Drive disciplined execution of our claims handling playbook to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure claims are resolved in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner by adhering to established processes and industry best practices.
2. Lead and Develop Your Team: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, building a high-performing team of adjusters who consistently deliver results. Mentor and coach adjusters to adopt innovative strategies and execute on resolution plans with urgency. Foster a culture of accountability, encouraging team members to embrace challenges and exceed expectations.
3. Streamline Operations: Evaluate current claims handling processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Drive disciplined adherence to operational standards, ensuring claims management aligns with company goals and compliance requirements.
4. Strategize and Innovate: Use data-driven insights to identify trends, assess performance, and refine strategies. Lead the implementation of innovative claims-handling solutions that improve closure rates, reduce costs, and enhance the client experience. Drive execution of key initiatives that position ProService as the leader in workers' compensation claims management.
5. Collaborate for Success: Partner with senior leadership, compliance teams, and other stakeholders to align claims strategies with broader organizational objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to elevate our claims management practices.

1. Claims Management Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing complex workers' compensation claims, particularly those with high cost and complexity, or within a captive.

3. Strategic Acumen: Expertise in leveraging data to identify trends, evaluate processes, and develop strategies to improve claims outcomes.
4. Process Optimization Experience: A history of enhancing operational workflows to achieve efficiency, cost containment, and compliance.
5. Strong Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Hawaii workers' compensation laws or the ability to transfer equivalent knowledge effectively.
6. Results-Driven Mindset: A passion for achieving excellence, with a bias for action and a reputation for delivering on commitments.

5. Competitive Pay & Benefits: We believe in recognizing and rewarding your hard work with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a commitment to your well-being. The pay range for this role is a base salary of $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this role includes a variable component based on performance, with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $200,000.00 per year.
