Immersive Wisdom offers a remote collaborative ops center platform for distributed & disaggregated operations that allows geographically dispersed personnel to effectively work together and act without having to be physically present, even in severely bandwidth-limited environments, using existing desktops and laptops.

We are seeking multiple TS/SCI-cleared Field Software Engineers. You will work closely with existing customers and our broader team, driving the continued technical success of Immersive Wisdom's software platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and communicate on a continuous basis across Immersive Wisdom customers, support, software development, and operations teams.
  • Develop, modify, debug, profile, and test software through .NET Standard and Core applications.
  • Write maintainable, performant, and test driven code.
  • Participate in the design, performance, and code review process.
  • Foster a culture of sharing knowledge, best practices and standards.
  • Desire to learn and solve unfamiliar concepts.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with significant programming experience, or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a .NET developer.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, coordinate, communicate, and support other team members.
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented development.
  • Creative, motivated, focused, passionate, results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to write efficient, clean, readable, portable, and reliable code.

Stand Out:

  • Experience with Git and version control conflict resolution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of component-based development.
  • Familiarity with multi-threading, asynchronous code, Tasks, or Dataflow.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data, map projections, and tiling systems.
  • Familiarity interfacing with 3rd party libraries written in C# and C++.
