We are recruiting for an Engineering Technician to provide support to the client in both a field and office environment with a variety of moderate to complex tasks and functional activity.

Skills/Qualifications: Organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment and decision-making ability, takes initiative and is adaptable. Experience in workplace health and safety issues, workplace compensation programs for employees, and training in health and safety. Knowledge and experience with the Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 requirements.
Education and Experience: This position requires a minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution in Engineering Technology and five (5) years of relevant experience as an engineering technician. A minimum of five years of continuous construction, environmental, or general safety experience in supervising/managing safety and occupational health at hazardous waste site cleanup (or radioactive waste sites, if necessary) operations or general construction sites. Must also possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point as well as Adobe Acrobat.
Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
License or certificate: Completion of the 30-hour OSHA General Industry safety class or 30-hour OSHA Construction Industry safety class is required.
