Salary: $6,399 - $7,787 per month (SR-26, Step D to I)
Duties Summary
Positions in the Project Manager Series includes all classes of positions which reflect responsibility for the supervision and/or performance of professional work in planning, organizing, managing, implementing, and evaluating specific projects on behalf of a department. Positions in this series are accountable for all aspects of a project, ensuring that all products identified in the project scope are delivered on time and within budget. Positions also perform other related administrative duties such as managing the project budget, developing and monitoring contracts, and creating status reports.

This position determines project and program priorities; oversees all project components from conception to implementation; works directly with project staff and consultants to ensure that resources are appropriately utilized throughout project phases; monitors project progress; requests and allocates the appropriate resources needed for timely completion of all phases; communicates effectively with all stakeholders; manages contracts; coordinates functional management activities; maintains records and documentation pertaining to project decisions; coordinates and manages end-user testing; provides advisory support to stakeholders and project staff; and evaluates and refines operating procedures to improve the execution of projects.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Basic Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Specialized Experience: Four and one-half (4-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional experience planning, directing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating projects.
Supervisory Aptitude: Supervisory aptitude rather than actual supervisory experience is required.
Driver's License Requirement: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
