Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role involves technical oversight, project documentation, and collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, and project coordination.Responsibilities:Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure on-time and cost-effective completion.Review and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.Monitor site progress and quality control to ensure work meets industry and safety standards.Support material procurement and cost tracking to maintain budget compliance.Assist in resolving technical issues, construction conflicts, and project risks.Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and daily logs.Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations to maintain a safe job site.Utilize project management software to track progress and report updates to stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience in construction engineering, site coordination, or project management.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and safety regulations (OSHA, LEED, etc.).Ability to travel to job sites and work in a fast-paced construction environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT certification (preferred but not required).Understanding of cost estimation, scheduling, and risk assessment.Salary dependent on experience; prefered 5 years in construction project engineeringCompany DescriptionEstablished company (since 1989) with flexible management for proactive, responsible employees.
