Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States. Two year(s) of non-registered professional (post-bachelor's degree) civil engineering experience. Such experience shall demonstrate knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices; engineering mathematics; engineering mechanics and the mechanics of materials; hydraulic, structural, mechanical, electrical and sanitary engineering principles to the extent that these apply to the general field of civil engineering; and the ability to do civil engineering design work or supervise construction and inspection activities; analyze stresses and determine the required foundations and structural features; supervise a small group of subordinate professional or subprofessional employees; prepare engineering and inspection reports.

Having the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as qualifying for the position. Your overall experience must have been of such scope, level and responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position. Work experience while in an engineering student intern position will not be creditable as equivalent to professional engineering experience.
