Program Supervisor

Manages the Catapult Learning instructional program to ensure adherence to Catapult Learning educational standards; hires, trains and oversees the performance of teachers and assistants where applicable, assists with testing students, and oversees the conferencing of students, principals, classroom teachers and parents. Works closely with the Education Quality Department to ensure the implementation of quality programming. Ensures customer satisfaction through problem solving and frequent communication.

The Program Supervisor will be responsible for managing the Catapult Learning Educational instructional program to ensure adherence to Catapult Learning educational standards; hiring, training, and overseeing the performance of teachers and assistants where applicable, assisting with testing students, ensuring IEP Goals are met, and overseeing the conferencing of students, principals, classroom teachers, and parents. The Program Supervisor will work closely with the Education Quality Department to ensure the implementation of quality programming. Ensures customer satisfaction through problem solving and frequent communication.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Assure customer satisfaction, program quality assurance, and student achievement.
• Manage concerns regarding instructional needs, materials, and supplies.
• Communicate with school principal and classroom teachers concerning program implementation.
• Ensure customer service and program problems are communicated to the Regional Director or senior management immediately.
• Communicate with the regional education quality manager regarding instructional issues and concerns.
• Establish a positive professional rapport with school staff, principals, and the school district.
• Continue to grow the program and work towards renewal of contracts.
• Oversee the organization and management of the program library. Recommend, purchase, and maintain materials and supplies.
• Thorough communication with Regional Director to assure safety and professional appearance of optimal learning environment of Catapult Learning classrooms.
• Prepare teachers to successfully complete their quality assurance review and assure that all teachers complete Catapult Learning teacher training component.
• Submit Monthly Reports to Regional Directors and Regional Educational Quality Managers, and other documents as necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Train and supervise teachers. Supervision to include informal and formal lesson observations (formal to include Pre/PEP-conference, scheduled lesson observations, and post-conference).
• Provide assistance to teachers in the development of class schedules and instructional strategies to meet the needs of all participating students.
• Prepare presentations for meetings and trainings to address both instructional and business issues as required by the Regional Director and Instructional Support.
• Assist teachers with the completion and submission of company, district, state, or federal required forms.
• Provide guidance to teachers with record keeping procedures and ensure that Catapult Learning required plans and reports are maintained and updated properly.

• Starting salary range: $80,000

• Must reside on the island of Oahu full-time
• Bachelor's degree
• At least two years teaching experience at the primary and/or secondary level
• At least two years related supervisory experience in education
• Must be able to teach all basic skills or other related areas and interact with students and administrators.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and travel between multiple school sites. Must understand that all children can learn.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and own a personal vehicle to transport self to different sites
• Must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers. Must be flexible.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, is a must.
