The Role
As a Salesforce Field Service Sr Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable Salesforce solutions for field operations. This role involves providing technical leadership and direction to a team of developers in the creation, delivery, and integration of complex software solutions that meet business requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will participate in the design, evaluation, and selection of IT solutions for specific business needs in accordance with the architectural direction.
This professional effectively communicates the return on investment (ROI) of technical solutions that align with the customer's business objectives.

The Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions on Salesforce Field Service (FSL) and the SFS Mobile App, ensuring alignment with telecom industry requirements.
- Customize Field Service Lightning components, including Work Orders, Service Appointments, and Resource Schedules.
- Develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Integrate Salesforce Field Service with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven data models.
- Optimize scheduling and routing configurations to meet telecom-specific field service needs.
- Participate in end-to-end implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, and deployment.
- Conduct workshops to align technical solutions with business goals and KPIs.
- Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the SFS Mobile App.
- Identify and implement process improvements leveraging AI and analytics to optimize field service efficiency.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate telecom field service requirements into technical specifications.
- Deliver training and documentation for end-users and administrators.
- Effectively communicates and presents to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders the technical benefits of the solutions along with the alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Understand and communicates the return on investment of the overall solutions.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Five years of Salesforce development experience building LWC, Flows, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, SOQL, Custom objects etc.
- Two plus years of experience in Salesforce Field Service and SFS Mobile App development.
- Salesforce developer/architect certification is a plus.
- Eight plus years of software development experience.
- Experience with Service Cloud, advanced apex coding, controllers, triggers, platform events.
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft or Informatica).
- Automate the deployments by building the CI/CD pipelines using the Lumen DevSecOps toolchain and processes.
- Integrate apps with enterprise monitoring tools, support systems, log platforms and build system health dashboards for visibility and traceability.
- Experience building applications with Java, Spring Boot, .Net or other related technologies.
- Experience building distributed applications utilizing Apache or Confluent Kafka.
- Working knowledge of AppDynamics, BigPanda & Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging of applications and service.
- Knowledge of telecom-specific data models and carrier integrations.
- Strong Presentation and Communication Skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of related experience.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Experience with data migrations in telecom settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAFe framework is a plus.
- Experience with AI tools and automation strategies in Field Service is a plus.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
- $129,639.00 - $172,852.00 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
- $136,121.00 - $181,494.00 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
- $142,603.00 - $190,137.00 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
