Salary
BAND A - Entry Level: $4,495 to $6,399 per month (SR-18, Step D to M).
BAND A - Independent Worker: $4,858 to $6,922 per month (SR-20, Step D to M).
BAND B - Journeyworker: $5,258 to $7,485 per month (SR-22, Step D to M).
BAND B - Senior Specialist/Subject Matter Expert: $5,918 to $8,422 per month (SR-24, Step D to M).
Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Duties Summary
Positions assigned to this level perform professional Information Technology work ranging from Entry/Trainee, Independent Worker, Journeyworker, and Senior Specialist/Subject Matter Expert levels.
Systems Analyst identifies complex inter/intra departmental problems, evaluates existing systems and technologies, cost and time constraints and recommends the most effective solution for systems design. Leads system integration testing, interface development, conversion activities, interaction between systems and other system implementation tasks. Works with users under general supervision and is able to handle all complex technical aspects of system analysis. May oversee activities of lower-level employees in the department or supervise resources on special projects.
