GovCIO Automation Team Lead / Delivery Lead (Remote) in Honolulu, Hawaii

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Automation Team Lead / Delivery Lead to support database development, automation engineering, data configuration, data analytics, and reporting activities at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role will be responsible for working within an interconnected reporting and analytics team to pull, configure, and analyze data to create real-time metrics, tasking responses, and overall information to support the ICE mission. This will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of cross-function automation engineers in prioritizing the modernization and technology tools to automate manual reporting processes.
2. Leverage mission understanding to bridge data connections across ICE mission teams.
3. Lead automation process definition and overall automation process continuity across 9 distinct business teams.
4. Provide effective data management to enable complex analytics from a myriad of systems and software including Oracle, Databricks, AWS, and ServiceNow.
5. Align data with data analytic tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Dashboards.
6. Facilitate the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions that can be enabled within the data systems.
7. Provide trade-off analyses on technical solutions to determine the best tools and methodologies to solve complex data requests.
8. Create project deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
9. Use source data to assess the effectiveness of projects and business processes.
10. Work with all team members to analyze changes in requirements and recommend the most expedient solutions in a timely manner.
11. Enable end-user visibility of data and metrics via dashboard creation and metric dissemination.
12. Leverage advanced analytic skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear picture for mission leadership.
13. Support delivery leadership on ICE specific contracts across the ecosystem.
14. Lead cross DHS immigration data discovery and initiatives to enable data sharing.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree and 15 years related work experience.
2. 10+ years of direct experience supporting DHS ICE.
3. 10+ years of experience work (2 years of experience may be removed for a master's degree).
4. 5+ years of experience in data exploration, data cleaning, visualization, and overall data analytics.
5. 2+ years of experience in data visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
6. Experience supporting interagency data initiatives centered on DHS immigration data.
7. Strong evidence of data modeling, mapping data flows, and data design.

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance.

Posted Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
