Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and visionary Emerging Experiences Creative Director to lead the development of groundbreaking consumer experiences that harness the power of Generative AI (GenAI) and other emerging technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and delivering novel user experiences that drive product market fit (PMF) and shape the future of our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Explore and experiment with cutting-edge technologies, including virtual and mixed reality, AI-driven character experiences, and GenAI, to create innovative and engaging user experiences.
2. Lead the creative vision and direction for new product experiences, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand values.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test new experiences that meet business objectives and user needs.
4. Provide actionable and timely feedback across the Emerging Experiences slate to elevate the creative quality of the work, ensuring alignment with pillar goals.
5. Develop and maintain a practical understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and innovation.
6. Foster relationships centered around innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.
7. Work closely with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of new experiences into existing products or platforms.
8. Analyze user feedback, market trends, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and optimize user experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Proven track record of shipping successful products that showcase innovative use of technology and user-centered design principles.
2. Extensive experience in the interactive entertainment industry, working with developers on innovative, theoretical projects.
3. Technical knowledge of emerging technologies, including but not limited to: Virtual and mixed reality platforms (e.g., HorizonOS, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.), GenAI tools and platforms (e.g., Llama, Automatic Speech Recognition/Text-to-Speech, etc.).
4. Proven experience in effective communication, collaboration, and project management skills, influencing company executives through compelling presentations.
5. Capacity to perform in a time-sensitive, fluid environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Direct experience working at a major entertainment company with prominent brand and franchise Intellectual Property recognition.
2. Direct experience shipping publicly facing AI character or GenAI products, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences that meet business objectives and drive product market fit.
3. Extensive experience with virtual and mixed reality, AI-driven character experiences, and GenAI.

Public Compensation:

$196,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
