We are looking for a full-time cook to prepare and cook food items for the residents of our care homes. Between our two locations, we have about 32 residents that need to be fed three meals daily. The cook shall be responsible for preparing, providing and setting up nutritious, diet appropriate and attractive meals and snacks on a daily basis under the supervision of the dietician and Administrator. Meals shall be prepared following a cycle menu prepared by the dietician following state regulations of nutritive values and requirements for the elderly. You must be organized in the kitchen and ensure proper food handling, sanitation and following food storage procedures.
Knowledge of local food and Asian cuisine, preferably Japanese, is desired.
