Director - Partner Sales Executive - Microsoft

What You'll Do

  1. Manage and align Teradata and Microsoft sales teams to accelerate new logos, expansion, and migration wins.
  2. Be responsible for Industries and a GEO working with Microsoft sales at different stages of partnership with Teradata.
  3. Collaborate with peers and Teradata sales teams to drive revenue growth.
  4. Bring in the right Microsoft sales team for each account and opportunity and enable Microsoft sales teams in their own Microsoft-led sales motions.
  5. Act as a sales coach to Sales leaders and Account Executives on how to impact their business by co-selling with Microsoft.
  6. Collaborate with the Partner and Field Marketing teams to accelerate sales through Microsoft programs and events.
  7. Develop a thorough understanding of Teradata's products, roadmap, and partner strategy.
  8. Own, build, develop and manage the Microsoft plan for your territory.
  9. Drive joint pipeline growth through Microsoft originated opportunities.
  10. Understand key opportunities, capabilities, and coordinate activation across assigned accounts.
  11. Be a deal coach to sales teams and leaders leveraging all the assets and resources of Microsoft.
  12. Lead the engagement between the wider Teradata teams with the Microsoft sales teams.
  13. Ensure CSP choice and provide clarity on programs and resources.
  14. Work across the Sales leaders of Microsoft to drive commitment to Teradata and engagement on the pipeline.
  15. Understand and land Teradata offerings to grow Microsoft capacity and support account plans.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 10+ years partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry.
  3. Cloud & Technology Partner “sell-with” sales or Channel sales & alliances experience, along with a consistent track record of quota overachievement.
  4. Proven & documented track record of success in Microsoft sales, development, and strategy execution.

What You'll Bring

  1. Experience leading deal negotiations and managing executive relationships in Microsoft.
  2. Understand how to work cross-functionally at an executive level, both internally and externally, to drive successful partnerships and projects.
  3. Ability to present to an executive level.
  4. Extensive relationships within the Microsoft, SI, & Reseller partner community.
