Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop beam dynamics simulation for the UH linac and FEL.
* Conduct research on beam Physics and FEL Physics.
* Operate the UH linac and FEL facility under supervision, and verify theoretical calculation and simulations with experimental measurements.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must have a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Physic, Astronomy or equivalent subject field
* Must be a current graduate student in the College of Natural Sciences, UHM
* Must have programming skills.
* Ability to comply with lab safety protocols and work with others.
Desirable Qualifications
* Background in accelerator physics.
* Has prior programming experience in python/matlab/labview
* Must have experience with SolidWorks.
* Must have experience with vacuum work.
