**Job Title: Fire Watchman**
**Job Description**
As a Fire Watchman, you will be responsible for fire watch, general labor, and clean-up tasks on the USS Hopper. Your primary duties will include observing hot work operations to continuously watch for fires, inspecting workareas for flammable liquids or vapors, maintaining safety standards by ensuring fire-fighting equipment is available and following safety permit requirements, notifying emergency services and firefighters in case of a fire, and stopping work to restore safe conditions if necessary. You will also be responsible for instructing employees on the safe handling of flammable materials, assisting in the construction of hot work containments, and helping with clean-up at the end of each shift. Taking safety precautions and stopping operations to check for hazardous situations will be a critical part of your role.
