Job Description

Essential Functions

• Make island wide deliveries as needed to customers and vendors
• Stage shipments & pallets with product for delivery
• Support the daily maintenance of all vehicles (filled with fuel, fluids inspected and topped, appropriate tire pressure, and cleanliness inside and out)
• Loading and unloading truck to include proper tie-downs and weight distribution management
• Material/order delivers to Jobsites/office locations
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Supervisor or Department Manager
• Time Management
• Organized and self-motivated and the drive to learn
• Customer service to represent punctuality, safety procedures, and courteous attitude
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Miscellaneous duties as necessary

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience

• High School Diploma
• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective Time Management
• Strong sense of direction and knowledge of local and rural areas
• Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
• Clean driving records a must
• Must be to be able to pass physical to attain a medical card required
• Must be at least 21 years of age

The hiring range for this position is $19-$21 per hour. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
