**Position Description:**
A Logistics Clerk will report to the Logistics Supervisor to complete all tasks assigned related to logistics. The tasks will be related to supporting internal and external customers for the proper inventory, shipping, and receiving of all materials. The person in this position will be accountable for on time deliveries, internal material requests, and accuracy of kitting efforts.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
Warehousing duties that require an understanding of established storage plans, policies and procedures.
Verifying materials against receiving documents, and adhering to the appropriate procedure.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials for shipments for both internal and external customers.
Taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials
Reporting Non-Conformance of items
Kitting of customer equipment, verifying accuracy.
Preparing labels and crating for all shipments.
Insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles
Understands manifests, bills of lading, ect.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 1 year directly related experience.
Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
Ability to travel up to 25% or less.
Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid forklift license.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to work a Flexible work schedule, that could possibly include some work on weekends if it is customer required.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently forklift license
Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $60,000 to $100,000.
