Position: Warehouse Associate

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $16 to $18/hour (depending on experience)

Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar warehouse role preferred

Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred (we will provide certification if needed)

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Unload, inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
• Sort and place materials or items on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
• Ensure orders are properly labeled and securely packed to prevent damage during transit
• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with the inventory management system; report discrepancies or issues such as damages, expired, or low stock conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions
• Inspect products for defects and report any quality issues; ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Comply with company policies and regulations regarding warehouse operations

• Strives to understand the details, analyze root causes and take appropriate action
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods
• Capable of moving up to 50 pounds regularly
