Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory operations
Essential Functions:
- Pick, pull, ship and bin parts with accuracy within specified time frames.
- Track shipments and freight charges via the internet and bill correctly.
- Receive parts into the computer system and bin or ship as the system indicates.
- Operate material handling equipment, forklifts, and hydraulic hose-build machinery safely.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Pick up/deliver as assigned.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
- Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
- Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
- Participates as needed in special projects and/or other department work as assigned.
- Perform other job tasks as requested.

Qualifications GuidelinesExperience/Training/Education:Required: High School or GED equivalent, 6 months of work experience in a similar position
Desired: Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics, or material processing; working knowledge with UPS World Ship program
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires ability to perform Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Cycle counting, Packaging, and Logistics; requires attention to detail. Ability to recognize all colors in a normal spectrum; thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures and material flow. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products and other data systems; Ability to meet deadlines; to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; ability to accept constructive criticism; ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently; ability to lead, supervise and train others; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with subordinates, members of management, vendors, and other employees. Knowledge of/experience with parts reference sources and materials such as manufacturer manuals, books, internet, and the ability to effectively use such materials.
Physical and Environmental Elements: This is a production classification and employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Special Requirements/Certification: Forklift Operation, Valid driver's license required.
