Description:

Ensure the highest level of service to all Representative Payee (Rep Payee) individuals, consistent to the overall purpose of the company and the Social Security Administration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greets and announces visitors to include; answering of incoming phone lines, monitoring of visitors and reports any unusual guests or situations, in a timely manner. Ensures that all visitors sign in and out and are met at the reception area.
  • Receives and screens incoming telephone calls, routing message(s) to appropriate persons. Provides routine information and directs callers and visitors to the appropriate source.
  • Performs basic administrative duties to include but not limited to; making copies, faxing documents to various agencies, shredding, receiving daily mail and processing outgoing mail.
  • Provides appropriate client information to various agencies in accordance with confidentiality laws and practices.
  • Assists the Representative Payee Manager with Rep Payee referrals from CM agencies, calling and faxing documents as needed.
  • Assists the Representative Payee Manager and Rep Payee staff with reporting changes to Social Security Administration.
  • Compose correspondence, upon request from Rep Payee Manager.
  • Provides efficient and effective data entry as required to also include calculations of consumer receipts for reconciliations and auditing purposes.
  • Maintains clinical and organizational filing systems, client documentation(s) report(s) and memos. Sorts, organize, and files in client chart in a timely manner and with accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma. Associates Degree preferred.
    • 1 to 1 1/2 yrs of customer service and/or administrative experience. Experience working in the human services field with diverse populations, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows computer programs including database programs such as Excel.
  • Ability to type 50wpm and ability to use 10-key by touch.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a variety of people.
  • Valid Drivers license, clean traffic abstract, and willingness to use properly insured personal vehicle.
  • TB clearance, First Aid/CPR/CPI certified.
