We are now hiring for a Technical Support Administrator who will be responsible for all technical functions and field operations for the Honolulu Office, the neighbor islands (Maui, Kauai & Hawaii Island) and all desks locations throughout the State of Hawaii. This includes hardware and software, communications links, network and telecommunications equipment, printers and related peripherals. This position will require occasional-to-frequent travel to the neighbor islands for technical support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining voice and data networks in the Honolulu office, including PC’s, servers, network and telecom equipment
  • Managing email, setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance for all point-of-sale computer systems and phones
  • Providing training and technical support to all Hawaii-based employees with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence
  • Planning, implementation and management of all technology-related projects
  • Performing general system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Performing System backups with tape rotations
  • Security Systems DVR support
  • Liaise with corporate office IS management as needed
  • Travel to neighbor Island offices, as required by business needs for maintenance and/or project management

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Salary: $20.83/hr - $31.05/hr (subject to experience and qualifications)


  • 3-5 Years of experience in similar field and/or industry (required)
  • CompTia  A+ and Network+ Certifications (required, but can be substituted for equivalent work experience)
  • Advanced Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop products (required)
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of the following: Avaya PBX systems and VoIP technologies, MS Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, VMWare Virtualization Software, and LAN/WAN technologies (Juniper, Palo-Alto, Sonic-Wall, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with vendors and service providers (required)
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment (required)
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work independently and efficiently (required)
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract & Background Check (required)
  • Reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Reside on Oahu (required)
