Mechanical Engineer

Actalent is in search of a well-versed Mechanical Engineer who is looking to lead teams and expand business with a well-established Mechanical Engineering firm in Hawaii.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MEP mechanical design projects across commercial, medical, education, transportation, hospitality, retail, and other sectors.
• Provide oversight (EOR) for preparation of mechanical drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations.
• Lead mechanical design staff.
• Perform construction administration and site observations related to assigned projects.
• Deliver exemplary service to team members and clients.
• Support business development with new and existing clients.

Required Qualifications

• BSME
• 10+ years of experience in MEP design/consulting.
• Team leadership and management experience.
• Project management experience in the MEP field.
• Healthcare building design and HCAI compliance experience.
• High-energy client service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1015 years of increasing leadership responsibility in commercial A/E engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems for healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
• Strong familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $76.00 - $96.00/hr.
