As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with those you encounter. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with local authorities and Allied Universal team members when situations arise that require additional support.

+ Remain alert and observant while on patrol to help to deter potential security-related risks within the government transit environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
