Hourly Pay Range: $28.00 - $31.00 (depending on qualifications)

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer II is to ensure exceptional guest and homeowner services by effectively maintaining the machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within their designated scope. The role is vital in upholding an efficient, dependable, safe, and conducive environment for our esteemed homeowners, valued guests, and respected team members.

Qualifications

  • Valid Hawaii State Driver's License and acceptable driving record required
  • 2-year college degree or 6 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Experience in areas such as: building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, masonry, painting, carpentry, and basic lock repairs
  • Knowledge and skills in safely using hand/power tools and other materials required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and establish priorities with diverse timelines
  • Significant experience in diagnosing, research and problem solving
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to take and follow directions
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work cohesively with team members
