Lead Designer- Architecture

Location: Honolulu, HI | Salary: $109,000- $182,000 | Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Bid Solicitation / Request for Proposal / Tender Analysis: Conduct complex feasibility studies and write specifications for tenders.
• Feasibility Studies: Perform cost-benefit analysis for business process and product changes.
• Architectural Design: Design solutions that satisfy functionality, aesthetics, and cost requirements.
• Engineering Drawings: Supervise the Drawing Office team and develop CAD systems for complex engineering drawings.
• Personal Capability Building: Act as subject‑matter expert in technology, policy, or regulation, and maintain professional development.
• Building Surveys: Undertake surveys to determine building condition and identify defects and risks.
• Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships and oversee transactional client relationships.
• Construction Advice: Provide specialist advice on construction regulations and best practice.
• Building Information Modeling (BIM) System: Provide expert support for BIM planning, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of documented experience in architectural design and consulting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Licensure preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with BIM and advanced CAD systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Equivalent Level
• Licensure preferred

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 10 years of documented experience
