Must be able to supervise Contractor's personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
Shall have no record of moral turpitude, domestic violence, untruthfulness, or mental or emotional disorders which may interfere with performance of duties.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following the protocols relevant to government locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards discovered during patrols. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding security-related activities and concerns. Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points to buildings and restricted areas. Assist with emergency situations and/or evacuations as directed by Allied Universal management or site-specific instructions. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific requirements.
Mentally and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for their assigned Post/duties. In good physical health and be fully capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion such as standing, walking patrolling for an entire shift(s), climbing stairs, running and self-defense. Ability to perform essential physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. (e.g., fire extinguisher) for a designated distance. Assisting in the safe evacuation of individuals, including carrying a small child or providing support to persons with limited mobility. Subject to a random drug screen. Must be able to exercise physical force, if required, in the execution of their official duties. Be able to successfully pass a security background check conducted by the DOTA pass and ID office. Well-groomed and neat in appearance as officially commissioned representatives of the State. Pass and complete a one-time physical examination within the past 6 months. Pass a 12-panel drug test and pass all future random drug testing. Correctable, vision to 20/30 each eye with normal color vision. Able to hear at a normal conversational level. A hearing aid may be used to.
